IBA Cup
Belmont A are through to the quarter final of the IBA Cup for the 5th year in a row after beating NIBA side Portadown at home on Saturday by 42 shots. Belmont got off to a flying start and by the halfway stage were 36 shots ahead. The margin didn't change too much after that and the final score was 97-55. Robin Horner was the money-winner with 30-10 win over Geoff McMullan. The win means that they now play Limavady at Belmont on the 29th of July.
Belmont B bowed out of the Cup after losing at home to BLI side Kenilworth. The home side lead early on but a strong finish from the Dubliners resulted in a 9 shot victory and progression to the quarter final.
