Current Positions for each of the teams
Belmont A 3rd in Senior 1 with 37.5pts from 8 games
Belmont Park A 17th 16.5 from 8
Belmont B are 9th in Junior 1 20.5 from 6
Belmont Park B 13th 9pts from 6
Belmont Midweek are 6th 13pts from 4
Belmont Park Midweek 10th in Midweek 2
The IBA Cup is at the 4th round stage. Belmont A are still in the hunt for their fourth successive title and play NIBA side Portadown at home on Saturday 24th. Belmont B are still going and play their second game of the season againt a side from Dublin when they meet Kenilworth. That game starts at 1pm.
In the PGL Cup Belmont and Belmont Park seniors both won through to the last 16. Belmont are away to Cliftonville on Wednesday 28th and Belmont Park are at home to Malone. The Belmont Park also won through and play at Downpatrick in the next round also on the Wednesday.

In the PGL competitions, Belmont Park A player Jim Gorman is the last remaining representative in the singles which is at the quarter final stage. John Boyd and Wallace Cronie are the sole pairs representatives. Davy Hamilton's triple were the last Belmont members to be beat on Tuesday when they lost by four shots. And there are no rinks left in the Fours competition.
Congratulations to Robin Horner and Mark McPeak for once again being selected for the Ireland team, the BIBC Home Internation series takes place in England next week. Good luck to them in helping the Irish side defend their crown.
Congratulations also to Chris Eadie and Aaron Sloan for bring selected for the PGL U25 side to play in the Junior Inter-Association championships which are being hosted by the PGL. The last round of games are also being played at Belmont on Saturday 22nd of July.
Forms for the City of Belfast Tournament (17th-23rd July), hosted by Belmont, are now available. This year for the first time, there is a Ladies Open SIngles and Pairs competition. Entry is £4 for singles and £7 per pair.
